Our Project Partners
DSWR is conducted with seven universities and one U.S. Department of Agriculture research location, all known for their research capabilities, quality and commitment. These research partners form the basis of the project by setting up the experiments, conducting and coordinating the onsite field work, collaborating with the farmers/site leads, taking samples, ensuring all data is of the highest quality, sharing results with other sites and working with with the full project team.

The research sites represent different climates, soils and management practices in major dairy regions of the country, encompassing a diverse representation of dairy farms and their operations. Each site follows a similar experimental design; however, it is tailored specifically to that research partner’s region and management practices. In this way, DSWR provides researchers with the ability to compare results across regions.
